Open Letter to the Queen
To whoever you are, fuck you. Thank you for breaking my silence and low profile self. Thank you for shaking my relationship with my mom. Thank you for putting my name under the fire. Thank you for disgusting myself with the club, for the first time. Thank you for tucking myself with the failure I fucking did. Thank you for hurting me more than I did to you. Thank you for making me think low of myself. Thank you for shoving it to my face. Thank you for now I can’t seem to see myself smiling in the month-long preparation for the hell of two days. Thank you for being unjust more than I did to you. Thank you for setting me up a lesson: I can never be enough after all that I have done. That I will never be that person people applause on. In case you didn’t know, I am writing this not to humiliate you but I am writing this for myself. So to whoever you are, I can’t be more thankful enough for that single favor you forgot to spare me, and that is patience.
